SEFTON COUNCIL SPORTS AWARDS 2018 – Isabelle McKINNON

On Wednesday I attended the Awards held at the Floral Hall, Southport along with Ken Beck and Claire McKinnon. On behalf of the club I nominated Issy for the Junior FemaleS Sports Personality of the year.

Over 400 people with a sporting background were in attendance..all representing Sefton in a plethora of sports.

We were delight to witness Issy receive a Highly Commended Certificate in her category.,she was also nominated by Formby High School…

In the short time she has been a member she has made huge progress in racing in both circuit and cyclo cross racing,
she has valuable family support which is essential for travelling to events, she is dedicated to the club at a time when riders get poached into ‘race teams’ where sponsors can off lucrative incentives to cover cost.

This will be a prestigious award and night to remember for the rest of her life…

Congratulations to her, very well deserved.
Photos to follow.
