New Monthly Women Only Rides

Calling all Ladies!

How do you fancy spending a couple of hours on a Sunday in the fresh air – exercising and socialising. Southport Cycling Cub are introducing a monthly WOMEN-ONLY ride (over 16s only) for both beginners and experienced riders. Current SCC female members are very welcome.

Peter Ward Creator of Preston’s Guild Wheel, dies aged 83

Peter Ward who was a good friend to the club and a former team mate of Bill Bradley has died aged 83. He was instrumental in creating the Guild Wheel to promote cycling, running and walking in a safe environment away from road traffic. He will be sadly missed.
