Isabelle McKinnon Receives Sefton Shining Stars Award

It was an honour and pleasure as Club President to nominate Issy for an award  in the prestigious Sefton Shining Stars ceremony which was held at Bootle Town Hall on Tuesday 18th December Isabelle McKinnon Receives Sefton Shining Stars Awardwith over 200 assembled for the occasion.

This was the 12th edition of the ceremony which recognises the efforts made of riders under 16 years of age who have inspired others in the field of sport and caring for others..

It was a creditable achievement for  Issy to be awarded the first runner up prize in the Mary Roberson memorial category for her inspiration in promoting the sport of Cycling as a valued member of  Southport Cycling Club.  This was a night to remember for her and parents to cherish.

On behalf of the club I offer my congratulations on her success and long may it continue throughout her cycling career.

Colin Baldwin
Club President.
