Evening 10 Mile TT – Thursday 12th May

Last night’s TT saw 19 riders face the starter on a cool and blustery evening.  Full results are in the TT Results page.  Times were about a minute down on previous weeks, but even so there were some respectable times  recorded.  Only 2 SCC members took part – participation by SCC members this season in our own events has been disappointing to say the least – but it was good to see our multiple National Hill Hill Climb champ,  Jim Henderson having  a blast on  a very nice looking  new Dolan road bike (with clip on extensions). In fact a good proportion of riders taking part were on road bikes, proving that you don’t need a fancy TT bike to take part in TT’s – it’s just the  individual rider against the  clock.

We’ve a number of regular marshals / officials away next week, so Neil Langridge will be  looking for volunteers to Marshal and generally assist with running the event.
