SCC Freewheeling Competition – Bleasedale Start: Blackgate lane 9:30 am for steady paced ride out. Lunch at Cobbled Corner Cafe,  Chipping

SATURDAY 8:30 RIDE: STONEY LANE via ASHURST 

A nice leg tickler starting with Clieves Hill, then Ashurst, descend to Parbold, up Stoney Lane, down to Cedar, back via Clieves. About 52 miles. Meet club house at 8:30, Ainsdale 8:45.

Ride to Wray – Blackgate Lane 9:30 Sunday May 27th

With the weather looking good Sunday’s 9.30 ride from Blackgate Lane will go to Wray. Route will be Preston Docks , Scorton, Quernmore, Littledale via gated road and onto Wray. Flatter return route via Caton. A minimum two stop strategy.

Despite a fine, warm and sunny night, only 25 riders signed on ( 5 from SCC). We also managed to scrape up the bare number of marshals / helpers – but hopefully the situation will improve over the next few weeks as people return from their spring holidays. The event was was won by Steven
