Boxing Day Time Trial, 9:30 start time. Meet at the Club Room from 9.00.am. Up and down the Coast Road (Weld Road  to Pontins and back). Prizes for the best decorated bike and rider.

SATURDAY 8:30 RIDE: EVER RISING ROAD. An old favourite to loosen the legs. Meet clubhouse at 8:30, Plough 8:46. About 55 miles, flat apart from the ERR. Coffee at Cedar.

SATURDAY 9:30 RIDE. Plough bus stop, then Cedar Farm or nearby cafe.

SUNDAY: DOWNHILL COMPETITION. Meet Blackgate Lane at 9:30 then ride out to Bleasdale

SCC riders take on the Rake & Inter Club Hill Climb events 13th October

On Sunday the 13th of October SCC members were in action taking on the Rake & Inter Club Hill climb events.

Decent forecast at last! Meet clubhouse at 8:30, Ainsdale 8:45. Then Aughton, Dalton, Appley Bridge, Half Anglezark, Bowling Green, Home. Geoff leading.

SATURDAY 9:30 RIDE – cedar farm or nearby cafe

Plough bus stop, then a 30 to 40 mile easy going ride to Cedar Farm or another cafe nearby

CLUB HILL CLIMB COMPETITION 2019

The eagerly expected hype over who would take the coveted trophy this year was between last year’s winner Martin BAILEY, Conor McKinnon, Adam Dillon and Joe Wilson, never really materialised as Joe was unwell and Conor came to support his sister Issy….of course he’s now at Uni and has other issues to deal with.
